This book was recommended by Goodreads, and with the rating and reviews I saw, I thought it would be an interesting one!
The book is about empathy, children growing up, the differences we have with others and our own spouses, and friendship.
What did I just read!!! The entire book was plotless and had absolutely no substance! The entire book was a mish-mash of words and sentences. None of the sentences and the story made any sense to me. It started off well, but there was neither a direction to the book nor an end! Luckily it was a small one and I was able to finish it within a few hours.
Favorite lines from the book:
The wish never dies.
This is the way of life: the many things we do not know until it is too late.
These deprivations never leave us.
